Million Dollar Quartet

Recently I've switched from the Adobe 3D software to Maxon Cinema 4D. I spent a few weekends over the Christmas period doing tutorials and learning my way around it. The first project I've finished entirely in that one piece of software (no photoshop!) was Million Dollar Quartet for Barn Theatre – it's great for building neon title treatments because you can bend the glass tubes round really easily (that sort of thing was really time-consuming in the software I was using before). Here's where I started (I did several variations of these, then the client picked their favourite):




Then I built the model in 3D:




Then added materials and lighting to create the final artwork:
